Albumin antibody

Serum albumin is the main protein found in blood plasma and has a strong binding capacity for water, Ca2+, Na+, K+, fatty acids, hormones, drugs and others. Albumin is a globular protein that is used in numerous biochemical applications due to its high level of stability and low level of interference with various biological reactions. Its main function is the regulation of osmotic pressure in the blood as well as being the major transporter of zinc in plasma. Serum also binds to many other water-insoluble molecules. Serum has a particular affinity for many drug molecules, such as ibuprofin, and can strongly affect the way they are delivered through the body. Albumin is also an important endogenous source of amino acids.

Fitzgerald Industries offers a wide selection of Albumin antibodies from most common host species and specific for bovine, human, mouse, horse and goat serum albumins. Our serum albumin antibodies are available in monoclonal and polyclonal formats and are available in conjugated format with several commonly used conjugate tags including Biotin, HRP, FITC and alkaline phosphatase, making our Serum albumin antibodies the ideal choice for ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Immunohistochemistry-Frozen, Western Blot and many more.

Some of our most popular albumin antibodies include:

This affinity purified chicken polyclonal Human Serum Albumin antibody is perfect for use in both ELISA assays and Western Blotting.

This rabbit polyclonal Bovine Albumin antibody is purified by Salt fractionation and DEAE ion exchange chromatography and can be optimized for numerous applications.

Chicken Serum Albumin antibody (FITC) was is a rabbit polyclonal Chicken albumin antibody which was purified by Ammonium Sulfate precipitation and attached to an FITC tag for use in ELISA, IHC and Western blotting.

Human Albumin antibody (Alk Phos): This alkaline phosphate conjugated goat polyclonal human albumin antibody is affinity purified and supplied in HEPES buffer. The antibody can be used in a large number of applications including ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
