General Information

Biological Significance Enolase (2-phosphoD-glycerate hyidrolyase) is an important glycolytic enzyme located on the cell wall of C. albicans. This is a termostable and proteinic antigen, produced by all candidas spp and a marker of a deep tissular invasion, detected even in absence of candidemia.
