General Information
| Biological Significance | CA 50 protein is a large glycoprotein of 210KD in monomeric form that typically exists in the circulatory system as large aggregates. A cell surface glycoprotein on other Mucins such as MUC-1 defined by the monoclonal antibody epitope C50 used for clinical monitoring post therapy and early detection of relapsed colorectal, gastric and hepatocellular cancers. |
