Overview
Overview
| Synonyms | Monoclonal CD11b antibody, Anti-CD11b antibody, CD 11b antibody, integrin alpha Lpha M antibody, Complement Receptor 3 alpha antibody, Ma-1c alpha antibody, CD-11b, CD-11b antibody, CD11b, CD 11b |
|---|---|
| Specificity | Human |
| Applications | FC |
| Assay Information | A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 105 to 108 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. |

General Information
| Biological Significance | The ICRF44 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD11b, a 165 kDa adhesion molecule. CD11b associated with integrin beta2 is expressed on the surface of monocytes, granulocytes, activated lymphocytes and a subset of NK cells. CD11b is a receptor for intercellular adhesion molecule family members CD54, CD102 and CD50 as well as for iC3b. These adhesions are crucial in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. |
