General Information
| Biological Significance | Severe dengue is a leading cause of serious illness and death among children in some Asian and Latin American countries. NS1 is a viral glycoprotein which does not form part of the virion structure, but is expressed on the surface of infected cells as well as being secreted. It has been recognized as an important immunogen in infections of this virus. |
