This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.

Biological Significance
Hemagglutinin refers to a substance that causes red blood cells to agglutinate. This process is called hemagglutination. Examples include antibodies, blood group antigens, autoimmune factors (such as Rh factor), and lectins. Bacteria, viruses, and other parasites can be the source of blood agglutinins as well.
