General Information
| Biological Significance | Il36a also known as Interleukin-36 alpha. Il36a participates in cytokine/chemokine production in the epithelium. Part of the Il36a signaling system that is thought to be present in epithelial barriers and to take part in local inflammatory response; similar to the IL-1 system with which it shares the coreceptor IL1RAP. Recombinant mouse Il36a, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
