Influenza A antibody (H3N2) (biotin) was raised in goat using influenza A, strain Texas 1/77 (H3N2) as the immunogen.
This product is a purified IgG fraction, conjugated to the N-Hydroxysuccinimide ester of biotin under mild conditions to give a high degree of substitution. Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.1% NaN3 as a preservative.
Store at 4 deg C for short term storage. Aliquot and store at -20 deg C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Biological Significance
Influenza A virus subtype H3N2 (also H3N2) is a subtype of viruses that cause influenza (flu). H3N2 Viruses can infect birds and mammals. In birds, humans, and pigs, the virus has mutated into many strains. H3N2 is increasingly abundant in seasonal influenza, which kills an estimated 36,000 people in the United States each year.
