Cross Reactivity
Mouse
Applications
ELISA, IF, IHC, WB
Immunogen
NFKB p105/p50 antibody was raised in Rabbit using a synthesized non-phosphopeptide derived from human NF- kappaB p105/p50 around the phosphorylation site of serine Ab-927) 927 (C-D-SP-G-V) as the immunogen
Store at -20 deg C in small aliquots. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
General Information
Biological Significance
NFKB complexes are held in the cytoplasm in an inactive state complexed with members of the NF-kappa-B inhibitor (I-kappa-B) family. In a conventional activation pathway, I-kappa-B is phosphorylated by I-kappa-B kinases (IKKs) in response to different activators, subsequently degraded thus liberating the active NF-kappa-B complex which translocates to the nucleus.
