Western Blot analysis of Park7/DJ-1 antibody (10R-1031)

Jurkat cell lysate was resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human Park7/DJ-1 antibody (1:1000). Protein was visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.

General Information

Biological Significance PARK7, which is a small 189 amino acid protein, is a ubiquitously expressed protein involved in various cellular processes including spermatogenesis and fertilization, cancer, RNA-binding, androgen-receptor signaling and oxidative stress. Mutations in the Park7/DJ-1 are the cause of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson?s disease 7 (Park7).
