General Information
| Biological Significance | Park7 also known as protein DJ-1 belongs to the peptidase C56 family of proteins. It acts as a positive regulator of androgen receptor-dependent transcription. Play an important role in cell protection against oxidative stress and cell death acting as oxidative stress sensor and redox-sensitive chaperone and protease. Recombinant mouse Park7, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
