Polyclonal PPID antibody, Anti-PPID antibody, MGC33096 antibody, Cyclophilin D antibody, CYPD antibody, Peptidylprolyl Isomerase D antibody, CYP-40 antibody
Applications
IHC-P, WB
Immunogen
PPID antibody was raised in Rabbit using a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminal of human cyclophilin D, different from the related Rabbit and rat sequence by one amino acid, as the immunogen
Optimal conditions to be determined by the end user
Storage & Safety
Storage
Store at 4 deg C for short term storage. For long term storage aliquot and store at -20 deg C, avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
General Information
Biological Significance
PPID is a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and accelerate the folding of proteins. This protein has been shown to possess PPIase activity and, similar to other family members, can bind to the immunosuppressant cyclosporin A.
