PSF1 antibody was raised in rats which were immunized with murine PSF1. Rat spleen cells were isolated and fused with mouse melanoma in order to establish hybridoma cells.
Aliquot and store at -20 deg C. Avoid repeated freeze-thawing.
General Information
Biological Significance
PSF1 is one of the members of the GINS complex (other members being PSF2, PSF3 and SLD5) which is vital in the generation of replication forks and replisome progression during DNA replication. The precise function of the GINS complex is not completely understood but it is thought to activate the MCM2-7 complex as well as interacting with certain DNA polymerases.
