Anti-Rat

Secondary antibodies are used for the indirect detection of a target to which a specific primary antibody is first bound, this has useful applications in procedures requiring high specificity and sensitivity such as immunoassays or antibody based purification and diagnostic procedures. A secondary antibody can be used with any primary antibody of the same type and host species. While requiring more steps than using a detectable primary antibody, indirect detection of the target antigen has the advantage of greatly increased sensitivity due to the signal amplification from multiple secondary antibodies.

Fitzgerald Industries offers a wide selection of anti-rat secondary antibodies with excellent specificity for the major rat immunoglobulin classes, subclasses and fragments including IgG, IgM, IgG1, IgG2 etc  from host species include goat, rabbit, mouse, sheep and chicken.
