General Information
| Biological Significance | TPX, also known as lipid hydroperoxide peroxidase, is a member of the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. This protein may play an important role in thioredoxin peroxidase activity. Recombinant E. coli TPX protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. |
